When asked by Stewart George Lucas about the planet Obi-Wan Kenobi, the mastermind of the Star Wars universe replied, “He came from planet Steugon.”
He Was A Skilled Pilot
The Prequel trilogy made portraying Obi-Wan not a huge fan of flying, often resulting in light-hearted banter between him and Anakin Skywalker. Temporarily Leaving The Jedi Order
As one of the most decorated generals in the Grand Army of the Republic, Kenobi is best known as one of the most dedicated members of the Order of the Jedi. With this in mind, many fans wouldn’t expect the great Obi-Wan Kenobi to have once left the Jedi Order to pursue a personal mission.
After being caught in the midst of a planet-wide civil war in Melida/Dan, Kenobi made the only decision he felt he could and stayed to help end the conflict. The warring factions of Melida and Dan had been fighting for so many years that they forgot what the conflict was about in the first place.
His Fighting Style Evolved With The Films
When it came to lightsaber skills, Obi-Wan was highly regarded as one of the best skills in the galaxy. In his prime, he was able to defeat many powerful enemies such as Darth Maul, General Grievous, as well as a pre-cyborg Darth Vader. While he was primarily known as the master of the third form of traditional lightsaber combat, Soresu wasn’t the only form of the seven forms Obi-Wan used on screen.

While his fighting style includes other forms, it is undeniable that Kenobi is best known for his mastery of the third traditional form of lightsaber combat. Soresu was developed to compensate for the lack of defensive capabilities of the second form. Basically, a Soriso practitioner would strive to become an impenetrable defensive force.
